Vatika restaurant was previously located within the stunning Wickham Vineyard in Shedfield approximately 30mins drive from Winchester. The restaurant served modern British cuisine with an Indian twist and was the creation of Michelin starred Chef Atul Kochhar, one of the first ever Indian chefs to win a Michelin star. His protégé Jitin Joshi, Executive Chef at Vatika Restaurant, won Best Ethnic Chef of the Year 2010 and made it into the industry hall of fame after winning a Craft Guild of Chefs Award, the coveted ‘Chef’s Oscar’.
